Pilar Z. Aquino peacefully passed away at her home on December 25, 2013, at the age of 90. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfredo Aquino Sr., who passed away in 1987. Pilar is remembered fondly by her children, Fred Aquino and his wife Polly, Alita Elefante and her husband Ralph, and Leila Aquino. She was a cherished grandmother to Suzanne Aquino, Darryl Aquino, Eric Elefante with his partner Sarah, and Hazel Delos Santos with her husband Marvis, as well as Hernz and Hanz Zaide. Pilar was also a great-grandmother to Eric Raffael, Gabriel Michael, Martha Delos Santos, and the late Hernan Delos Santos. Friends are invited to pay their respects at Patterson Funeral Home on Friday, with vigil prayers at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at St. Ann's Church, followed by interment at Fairview Cemetery.
